This is one of the selections we chose for our New Year's "Osechi Set." It comes from a farm that we believe will gain more and more attention in the future.

At the beginning of this month, we had the opportunity to visit a cupping lab in Panama and speak with the producers directly. Since launching Ponderosa in 2011, they have also been managing several other farms.

In addition to Geisha, Pacamara was also on the cupping table. Beyond the variety’s inherent characteristics, we were impressed by the unique fruitiness that clearly reflected its terroir. We decided to purchase it, and it is scheduled to arrive around summer this year.
