As the year comes to a close, we are excited to introduce a unique initiative inspired by the traditional Japanese New Year custom of osechi. With this special set, we wish to bring you good fortune and happiness as you step into 2025.

Osechi is a traditional Japanese New Year’s meal served in a box (jubako), with each dish symbolising wishes for health, prosperity, and happiness. In our reinterpretation, we’ve created a set featuring eight different coffee selections, each sourced during our visit to farms in Panama in April 2024. These coffees represent not only their unique flavours but also our meaningful relationships with the producers and the stories behind each origin.

The coffee beans are sealed in reusable alumineum packaging, with each origin offering enough coffee for a single brew (15g per pack). The jubako is crafted from paulownia wood, designed with beautiful dividers for an elegant presentation. This masterpiece was made in collaboration with Taiya, a packaging company in Ishikawa Prefecture, known for their exceptional craftsmanship.

All coffees are roasted using Stronghold roaster, a roaster that brings out the distinct characteristics of each origin. Stronghold roaster is gaining global recognition in high-quality coffee competitions for its ability to highlight origin-specific profiles.
